Ingredients

  • 50g oats
  • 2 medium size eggs
  • 1 scoop of whey protein ( flavour of your choice)
  • 1 medium apple
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon (optional)
  • teaspoon of honey & desiccated coconut
  • 5g repeated oil

Method

  • STEP 1 Soak oats with boiled water and rest for 10min for oats have time to soften.
  • STEP 2 Add 2 eggs, whey protein and cinnamon (optional). Mix all together.
  • STEP 3 Peeled apple chop into small slices and add to oat mix.
  • STEP 4 Brush some oil on frying pan and start frying pancakes in medium heat for both sides.
  • STEP 5 Plate pancakes add some honey and desiccated coconut on top and enjoy!!

Don’t use expensive cooking sprays, they burn fast on the pan and pure waist of money. Buy “Silicone Basting Brush” instead and use it to grease your pan with minimum amount of oil.

There is no way you can save on good quality protein powder. In UK the best for cooking is PHD as it makes batter thicker. For drinking as shake I’m usually go with other brands.
